We welcome wool companies, researchers, sheep breeding associations and others involved in wool processing to a first Baltic Wool Conference 8-10 October 2020.

This is a conference about the versatile sheep wool fibre and aims at creating networks & increase exchange between entrepreneurs in the Baltic Sea area. We hope to encourage business development around this sustainable fibre so well adapted to a circular lifecycle. The conference will take place in the medieval city of Visby situated on the Swedish island Gotland in the middle of the Baltic Sea. The conference runs for two days with an additional day of bus excursions on Gotland.

Already booked are representatives from from The Natual Fibre Company (England), Viljandi Culture Academy at the University of Tartu (Estonia), Uist wool (Scotland) and the Swedish Sheep Breading Association (Sweden)

The conference is hosted by The Rural Economy and Agricultural Society Gotland in cooperation with Region Gotland and the National Swedish Handicraft Council.

Registration for the conference will open up in April
